An exploration of geometric shapes made of compression and tensile elements (i.e. sticks and strings). Good for looking at, climbing on or chilling under.
Do you feel excited about geometrical shapes? Have you ever been fascinated by lightweight yet rigid structures?
Here we are building a space to explore complex shapes made of simple parts.
We will build a central tower few meters tall with a small deck on top accommodating few persons. There also will be a garden of smaller structures surrounding it.
Some you may climb on, some will support a hammock, and some may even react to you with lights, sounds or movement.
If this dream will get enough support, the central tower will be built to stay as a permanent art in the quarry.
I love to build challenging structures and blink some lights.
TBD. We will try to recycle the materials as much as possible.
Hope to build the central tower as a permanent art.

Help in the beginning of the build week is REALLY needed. This is a permanent structure and it requires quite a lot of work on site, otherwise I'll be just stubborny doing this thing alone until my campmates arrive couple days before main week starts.
You can help with the build or if you think that your project may fit in the style - come build nearby.
Hey friend! Welcome to the virtual drawing board of The Borderland. This is the place where we prototype the projects we'll realise during the week in the quarry.
