A solarpowered electric zipline pulling you across the lake floating in a dinghy or on a sorfboard. We turn the corner of the lake into a flat electrified roller-coaster where joydevils can get their rush of the day by an elec-tug they will never forget.
Who wants to take a surf in the lake on a sunny day? It will be mostly a straight trip, and it may not be 40km/h but it can be LONG and great for a different experience in the water. Take an inflatable dinghy for a slow trip 300m forth and back or just let yourself be towed by your arms through the water. If possible we also bring larger and smaller surfboards to try some towing on them.. More people makes it slower, one person can probably go faster. This will be soooo much water-sport-fun!
The whole thing will be set up at the lake using solar panels for charging the batteries that drive the electric motor pulling the 300m long string. The almost silent motor will not disturb birds or swimmers in the opposite side.
-looking for some team members to join the planning and construction at BL, so send a comment or message
Maybe this can be combined somehow https://dreams.theborderland.se/dreams/627
And education is everywhere, so come see how simple these electric systems are set up.
No moop.. just buildup and takedown
|Structures, ropes and ground pegs to hold up the endpoints||1000|
|10-20 kW BLDC electric motor and pully wheels / also here I have a 10kw we can start with, so it may be no cost||5000|
|Batteries 4x lead acid -approx 60Ah - If anyone has them already we can save here :)||6000|
|BLDC 5kW drivers / I have already but incase they are damaged somehow we can replace them||1000|
|Solarpanels, charger, wiring and other materials I have already||0|
|400-600 m long 4mm paraglider Uhmpe rope||2500|
|Lifevests and helmet - I have already||1|
We do need to have more borderlings teaming up to construct this - anyone interested in joining the planning buildup?
Hey friend! Welcome to the virtual drawing board of The Borderland. This is the place where we prototype the projects we'll realise during the week in the quarry.
