The Underpass

  • Summary

Crawl through the underpass and enter our fabled world of hippie traps. A crawler-labyrinth with light installations and surprises for those who dare.

    Full description of yer concept

We want to build a medium sized labyrinth with light installations, actors and corners of play, a deceptive device for trapping the cosmic knas folk and naked bunnies. Some days it might be vacant, other days its filled with mythical encounters. Or just drunkards. The truth is in there.

It will be built with simple fabric walls and garden tools, fence posts, nets and wood. It is designed to be crawled through like a tunnel. Interiors will have small projectors, LED lights, sometimes actors awaiting to give surprises. If budget and passion allows we aim to have more elaborate sections with smoke, audio and lights to facilitate an attack on the visual senses. We invite others to collaborate If they have an idea for a space within this maze, anything goes!

Moop plan (matter out of place)

Daily moop sweeps of the maze and of course a complete magical removal of the construction.

    What is this?

Hey friend! Welcome to the virtual drawing board of The Borderland. This is the place where we prototype the projects we'll realise during the week in the quarry.
