  • Summary

10 mirror cubes will each feature one of the 10 principles. Make us reflect upon ourselves and our surroundings by day. Guide us on our paths in the night with light and sacred geometry, reminding and showing us the Burning Man principles.

    Full description of yer concept

Most burns are guided by the "Ten Principles of Burning Man".
They reflect the values of our ever-expanding community and culture.
And we will continue to explore what these principles mean, how they interplay with each other and how we can live them both at the event and in our lives...

However at times they seem overlooked in our community, and occasionally at some burns even left out, forgotten or somewhat vaguely exposed.

The 10 mirror cubes aims to change that.
To inspire us to become friends with these guiding principles for all of us.

10 pieces of 2.5 meter tall mirror octahedron cubes.
Each side of the pyramid is a mirror triangle of 1 meter in diameter. each triangle are held in place on the cube skeleton, by 4 to 6 magnet fix points, that each can hold approx. 12 kilo. More than plenty to keep them in place.
Each cube consists of 8 sides, with clean mirror surfaces as well as sacred geometry and one of the 10 principles.

By day they are reflecting ourselves and nature in the mirror surfaces with beautiful sacred geometry and the respective principles of burning man. And at night both guiding us at dark places as well as reminding us about what lies in the core of our community. Light. Self-reflection. Transformation. The 10 principles. <3

Each mirror cube will feature one of the 10 principles as well as a visual art piece of sacred geometry. It will be mounted on a tripod, nailed to the ground and can either be decided to be placed at different locations in the nature reserve of Hedeland, or gathered together in a specific zone.

After Borderland they can be fairly easy disassembled and visit other burns in Europe.
