Step inside a litte space where you can lay down and stare into a big infinity pyramid with LEDs reacting to music playing. The music isn't loud, but thanks to bass shakers attached to the floor, you will feel the bass all through your body.
The main piece will be a pyramid with a base of 1x1m and aorund 80cm high, suspended from the ceiling. Borderlings will come in, perhaps 2 or 3 at a time, and lay down on a padded floor under this pyramid. Inside the pyramid there are 400 leds, with 2 way mirrors on all sides. This will create a infinity mirror, creating an ilussion that the inside of the pyramid continues on forever. The LEDs react to music playing in the hut, displaying different patterns.
The floor itself has 4 bass shakers attached to it, which causes the bass to be felt, without the need to play the music very loud. All of this creates a magical 3 senses sensation; you will hear, feel and see the sound!
If possible we might integrate the music from the silent disco head phones, so there wouldn't be a need for any sound.
This year will be my 3:rd Borderland. I have previously helped on Kinetikami and Twisted Spa. This year I want to contribute something myself!
Nothing will be consumed in the hut, and we will have the floor covered with jigsaw mats. The structure of the hut will be brought in and back.

Yes! We are two persons doing this already, but we could really use someone that knows his/her way around a welder, to create the frame for the infinity pyramid.
Hey friend! Welcome to the virtual drawing board of The Borderland. This is the place where we prototype the projects we'll realise during the week in the quarry.
