    Trash to Treasure will again this year recieve your trash if sorted in transparant plastic bags. We are open every day accepting glas, metal, wood, food, card board, HARD plastic, general waste and refundable bottles and cans.

    Full description of yer concept

    We will have 6-10 biiig containers for sorted trash. Borderlings can bring their sorted trash in transparant plastic bags all week. No furniture, no matresses, no chemicals and no batteries. Money from selling refundable bottles goes to the Borderland organisation for art and the benifit of all.

    About the crew / artist

    This is the third year of Trash to Treasure and the second year the core team is gathered. Trash to Treasure core team is Ida Aunsbjerg Villadsen, Jannick Raunow, Peter Mulvany and Stine Bigum. We trust more boderlings to join us building and decorating the site and taking shifts guiding people arriving with trash.

    How can other Borderlings co-create with you?

    We trust 20-40 borderlings to build and decorate the trash site with us Monday and Tuesday and take shifts during the week guiding borderlings arriving with trash.

    What is this?

    Hey friend! Welcome to the virtual drawing board of The Borderland. This is the place where we prototype the projects we'll realise during the week in the quarry.

    • Do you need electricity from the grid? How much in Watts? No.

    • Will there be light? Maybe a little ligth.

    • Will anything BURN? We will get 100 m3 of untreated wood, mostly during Saturday and Sunday that anyone can take for the biiig burn. Otherwise we will donate it to local scouts.

    • What is your audio footprint? Trash trucks arriving during day time handling containers. People dropping glass, wood and metal.
