  • Summary

A shining landmark, a glorious monument, a Polychromatic Passage! Being able to be seen from far away, the Polychromatic Passage helps lost travellers to find their way to the sea both during the day and at night.

    Full description of yer concept

The Polychromatic Passage is back and itยดs bigger and better than ever! The famous landmark of Boesdal has the shape of a shining rainbow stretching from one side of the road to the other and filling the heart of all creatures that traverse it with joy. It marks the entry to the beach and its bright colours and shining lights make it easy to spot during day and night. And who knows, there might even be a treausre at the end of the rainbow.

This year we will make the rainbow higher to enable all art cars to easily drive through it. In addition, it will be illuminated by LED strips following the lines of the rainbow and glowing in matching colours ๐ŸŒˆ

    About the crew / artist

We are four dreamers who live in a collective in Stockholm and who have been to several burns (Urban Burn, The Borderland) together

How can other Borderlings co-create with you?

Everyone is welcome to donate treasures (crystals, jewelry, lucky charms) to be found at the end of the rainbow by other burners

    What is this?

Hey friend! Welcome to the virtual drawing board of The Borderland. This is the place where we prototype the projects we'll realise during the week in the quarry.

      Details

    • Do you need electricity from the grid? How much in Watts? Just enough for a couple of LED strips

    • Will there be light? LED strips in the seven colours of the rainbow will illuminate it at night

    • Will anything BURN? Our rainbow is sensitive to strong winds but we will build a serious support structure so that it wonยดt fall over (worked last year, too)

    • What is your audio footprint? no
