The end is near. The end is Queer. The Queermageddon is here.
Brace yourself for the final moments of normality. When the sun rises on Wednesday morning everything you have held true will be turned upside down.

    Full description of yer concept

Welcome to the ritual to end all rituals. The feast at the end of time. The final dance to put an end to the dancing.

The end is near. You only have a few hours left. You will spend your final night at the Queer Qastle to break free from everything you thought was true and right. When the sun rises - normality, as you know it, will be nothing but a faded memory.

    What is it:
The Queermageddon is a running event throughout the entire Borderland which starts with a dancing, moving, shaking ceremony on Tuesday evening after the opening ritual and ends in a slow procession in the early Wednesday morning light towards the ocean for cleansing and rebirth, and then continues through the week with continuous and random Queer rituals to let you leave your normative body and soul behind.

The Doomsday Queer Prophets will linger around in the Quarry, announcing the end of days and the need to repent.
To repent at the Queer apocalypse you need to dwell deep into sin.
Fear not. There is still time left. You can still shed your skin. You can still become free.

Dresscode for Tuesday night: post-nuclear-rags. Think Mad Max meets drag queens. But there will also be a well stocked end-of-the-world-transformation-area where you can find your inner Queer and let it shine through the night.

    About the crew / artist

The QQQ is the centerpiece of norm-breaking Borderland.

How can other Borderlings co-create with you?

The co-created bar will happily accept your gifts. Give everything you’ve got. The end is near, remember.

    What is this?

Hey friend! Welcome to the virtual drawing board of The Borderland. This is the place where we prototype the projects we'll realise during the week in the quarry.
