The Mushroom Space Forest is dreaming bigger, we want to give you the Amoris Cuddlensis Giganteus, a 6-7m tall mushroom filled with LEDs that reacts to sound and with a cuddle space inside its stalk filled with pillows.
Edit: Added after BL pics & text
The mushroom forest is a project that got granting in the first dream round. The forest is made up of enormous LED mushrooms of varying sizes. 10-20 smaller than 1m mushrooms, around 15 1-3m mushrooms and two larger ones between 3-5m tall. Together they will create an enchanting space for people to relax in. We felt like the forest was missing one piece however, the mother of all mushrooms, and we dared to dream again.
The Amoris Cuddlensis Giganteus will be 7m+ tall addition to the forest made of fabric and PVC pipes. It will be filled with LEDs and lights that change colour depending on the sound level and music around it. At the bottom of it’s stem there’s an opening that leads you into a 2m diameter space filled with pillows and cuddliness, laying in here you will see strings of thousands of LEDs hanging above you inside the stalk.
Please help us make this dream become reality.
We are two guys from Skåne, a carpenter and an engineer. We are a branch of the bigger mushroom forest people up in Stockholm. LEDs have been ordered and choice of materials is being discussed. Building will take place first and should be finished in June and in the meantime the Arduinos will be programmed. Then LEDs are attached to the construction. The construction will be built so that transportation won’t be an issue.
Little to no trash will come from the mushroom itself, people hanging out inside the forest might leave stuff behind, requiring us to do some MOOPing during the week.
Yes if anyone wants to be part and help out, they’re more than welcome to. Just write me and we’ll make it happen! Arduino programming and construction. Help us build the coolest and biggest mushroom ever!
Congratulations! You've stumbled upon something special. Borderland is a participatory festival that takes place in Boesdal, Denmark. It's a fully participatory event where everything is created by the participants themselves, with out any spectators.
