  • Summary

A teepee and a coffee bar will be deployed in KidsVille where we will host workshops from all the other camps for everyone and the parents that are looking after their kids. This is the parents playground, a place for all to nurture your inner child.

    Full description of the concept

Our main aim of the game is to gather all the nutrients a burn has to offer, right here in ParentsCamp. For parents it is relatively difficult to get out into the quarry and experience the plethora of offerings. In realising this dream we want to create a safe parents playground, close to the kids playground. We as parents are not so depleted! Infact we have alot of insights and gifts to offer and hope to co-create a space that can look at inspiring future generations, in numerous ways. Being burners, we must all have time to access our innerchilds also!
To create a community space within kidsville, alongside the much needed coffee, we wish to run workshops not only for those of us with severe parental FOMO but also for thsoe wishing to activate discussions and sessions on envisioning multi-(age)-ranging burns for the future. In this way we invite members of Borderland to experiment and run their own workshops as well as signing up and joining us in our quest for playful, meaningful, messy, vulnerable responsibility!

    About the group/Artist

A parental initiative set up to combine workshops, light, laughter and ceremony in visioning and realising our futures.

How can other burners co-create with you?

We will host numerous workshops for those wishing to delve into their creative, imaginative, playful visioning. We will also ask every other camp to host a workshop in the Teepee and hold it as a sacred space in the kids camp. FOMO should no longer be applicable.

the transport of the poles and towing the coffee bar from the Netherlands is quite the expense, since we'll be classified as a lorry crossing that bridge. We are sharing the transportcosts with Super Soakers, but are still one car short to tow the whole convoy. Some material cost will need to be added to make the coffee bar and teepee road worthy.

    What is this?

Congratulations! You've stumbled upon something special. The Dreams Platform is a place where participants share their dreams.
