  • Summary

Pillowtopia is a space for connecting with fellow burners in the age old tradition of cuddle puddles. It is a space for just being. It is a space for winding down in. It is a hug-positive space that will be open all hours of the day.

    Full description of the concept

We will create a cozy warm space that people can come and chill and snuggle in 24/7. This will consist of and an area of about 5x5m of pallets covered in cushions, in turn covered by tarps, and lit discreetly. Whilst we are a touch positive space it will be dedicated for those that want to give and receive hugs and cuddles, if you are wanting more than that then there are other places more suited for that.
In addition to this we will be holding sacred circles during the week for discussions on different topics during which we will serve coffee and tea.

    About the group/Artist

Pillowtopia will be created by Camp Tiny Camp, possibly Borderlands smallest camp. We are mostly first time burners and would like to lead as an example of what can be done in your first year at a burn.

How can other burners co-create with you?

    By finding us at https://www.facebook.com/groups/163760814454912/learning_content/?source=unknown
We are mostly looking for people coming to their first burn that feel like they would like to do more...

      Details

    • Do you need electricity from the grid? How much in Watts? We need to run a 180w appliance for app. 10 min per day. Can someone work that out for me?

    • Will there be light? Yes, just with some LED's so that people can see one another, but nothing too extreme

    • Safety implications We are buying reflective rope to make sure that no-one trips on it in the middle of the night and also expect to be able to light the worst spots with LED's

    • What is your audio footprint? Nope
