Talking to a Wall

  • Summary

Talking to a wall have never been more interesting - this wall actually listens to you! A dynamic, colourful computer visualization is displayed on a wall. The visualization is created by combinations of emotions, colors etc. spoken by visitors.

    Full description of the concept

Ever wondered what "nervous love" looks like? Or "rainbow rage"?
A projector will display a visualization on a wall somewhere, preferably indoors. An instructive sign will invite bypassers to speak a combination of emotions, expressions, moods, colors etc. into a microphone. The visualization will dynamically change to reflect the words spoken. Finally we can get an answer to what "sad passion" and "childish summer love" looks like!

The software was first tested at Urban Burn in Stockholm 2018, but I would love to bring it to Borderland this year.

    About the group/Artist

I'm David, nice to meet you! System developer by trade, and unicorn by birth. This will be my second year at Borderland, as part of the HighBearNation camp.

How can other burners co-create with you?

I have no projector on my own, so the major part of the budget goes to renting a projector. If anyone has a projector to use for this project it would be awesome.
Also, if someone wants to make cooler visualizations or want to help out adding words to the system, help is welcome.
