  • Summary

Popcorns for all Borderlings! We'll warp in an intergalatic snack station filled with popcorns from other dimensions. Green liquorice lime popcorn?! Come and explore these crackling, colorful and spicy pieces of art with your mouth!

    Full description of concept

We want to make colorful and tasty popcorn for the visitors to the lectures and other activities taking place in the library at Boesdal Explorers’ Society. We'll package the popcorn in small cones that Borderlings can bring with them or devour on the spot.

The Pop stop station will be located here as there'll be a access to a tent, electricity and for the gear to be protected from the forces of nature.

We will make different vegan tastes, exploring outside the realm of salt and butter. They'll be sweet, sour, salty - in different colors - and pimped with all the spices from our spice collection.

The station will be most active during the day and early evening. The pop packages that aren't consumed in the library, we'll bring with us on our excursions into the night and give out to the Borderlings we come across.

    About the group/Artist

We are two people working together, jointly called KRNDSTF.

PopStopStation is a branch of Boesdal Explorers’ Society, a camp of adventurers bringing tales from faraway lands and dimensions. The Society has mastered the science of exploration and aims to enlighten Borderland and share our experiences,

    Team and plan

We are two people, Anna and Stoffe, who'll work on this project together along with members from Boesdal Explorers’ Society. We'll make popcorn during the day and early evening, depending on the activities taking place in the library. We will keep the table full of delicious popcorn cones throughout the day.

We plan on incorporating the station inside the library.

Moop plan (matter out of place)

There will be trash cans for litter next to the station and also in the library. We will also make sure to sweep up all popcorns that may have fallen to the ground.

    Budget overview

How can other borderlings cocreate with you?

We'd love for help during the festival in making different batches and take care of the station during open hours. Also if anyone is sitting on a secret and affluent spice collection of their own and would like to spice it up you are more than welcome to get in touch!

    What is this?

Congratulations! You've stumbled upon something special. Borderland is a participatory festival that takes place in Boesdal, Denmark. It's a fully participatory event where everything is created by the participants themselves, with out any spectators.

    • Do you need electricity from the grid? Just for some smaller lights.

    • Will there be light? Yes, smaller lights.

    • Will anything burn? No. Hopefully no burned popcorns! ;)

    • What is your audio footprint? We won't make a sound. Except for the popping of course, mostly during afternoon and evening. We'll pop them in the back of the camp.

    • Forces of nature The station will be placed inside the library located in the camp Boesdal Explorers’ Society. The library will be inside a large party tent with walls, thus protected from all types of weather.
