You are surrounded by dancing shadows, your spirit lies where the smoke of the hut raises, and in that circle of magic, a fairy is holding your hand.
Allow yourself to be enchanted in an eclectic forest of rites, ceremonies, and workshops.
Historically referring to a community of 13 witches, The Coven is a space dedicated to the exploration of [re]connection through rituals and ceremonies, and open to co-creation by anybody who wants to bring their energy into the project and space. We dream of a space where the physical and ethereal come together into a nurturing atmosphere, where we can practice using all our senses to communicate with the ancestral, universal and the non-seen.
Here you can find your tribe and talk to your spirit animals; fly to the stars and dive into your horoscope; chant together with your ancestors; connect your taste buds to the spirit of chocolate; dance your weariness off in an ecstatic ceremony; craft a love potion for yourself and your lovers; share your deepest secrets in a circling workshop. You make the program! To make it complete, all the magic happens in a geodesic dome made out of broomsticks, donated by a retired witch from Romania.
In the night-time, we envision The Coven as providing a cozy [re]connecting den for watching films and sharing favourite videos. Feel free to bring something you love on a memory stick, we’ll bring a projector and hopefully feel better than at the IMAX.
This project is brought together by Dalma and Ramona, and will be part of the [re]connect camp.
We want to revive and upgrade the already existing geodesic dome by building a cover that protects it from the elements. We will take care of installing the structure beforehand, and we’d like to open it with a co-creative ceremony where the cover will be drawn and coloured on.
We already have a few ideas for workshops, and we dream of more people to initiate rituals and workshops.
The dome and all of its components will get packed and used later on.
We will have a moop station in the camp.
We want to buy the fabric for making the dome cover -4500
Pillows, lights and other decorations - 700
Congratulations! You've stumbled upon something special. Borderland is a participatory festival that takes place in Boesdal, Denmark. It's a fully participatory event where everything is created by the participants themselves, with out any spectators.
