  • Summary

Folkets tält, the Folktent, is a pretty impressive octagonal structure, 7m across and 4m high, providing a space for world music, jamming and active listening workshops.
+ CANELA BAR IS BACK! Now even more portable, popping up where you least expect it.

    Full description of concept

Folkets tält is an octagonal structure, somewhere between a gazebo and a Mongolian ger, 7 meters wide and 4 meters high. We want to inspire a world music vibe, playing traditional and modern music from the far east to the small island states in the west, and the warm south to the dense forests of the north. The space will be heavily decorated with trinkets and treasures from exotic lands and colourful pillows and poufs to comfortably snuggle down in between. There will be a little stage for jamming where anyone can partake (super inclusive) and workshops in active listening. Spontaneous circle dance will be encouraged.

The Canela bar in back! The concept will always be the same; warm cinnamon spiced rum drinks and cracling cumbia music in a warm and cozy atmosphere. The bar will be super portable this year, spontaneously popping up all around the festival area, illuminated by coloured lanterns.
